We are thrilled to announce that we have received a CREST accreditation for security (penetration testing), which is valid from the 1st of August 2020. This not only rewards the incredible efforts of our security team but carries credibility to help us to extend our profile in the security sector. 

Our sales and IT departments have recently welcomed two new starters. Despite many of our employees not being able to see them in person, it hasn’t stopped them receiving a very warm welcome. At Blue Frontier, it’s business as almost usual and our new colleagues are already proving themselves to be extremely valuable. Here is a little bit about Teneal and Michael.

We created the Global Vector Hub which is an open access interactive resource. It has the capacity to transform vector research and vector control programmes, and to revolutionise our preparedness and ability to respond quickly and effectively to vector-borne disease outbreaks around the world.

We are thrilled to announce that we recently welcomed two more new team members to both our Salisbury and Southampton offices. Our new starters have managerial, admin and IT engineering experience and have already begun to offer a great deal of expertise to Blue Frontier and our clients. We would like to introduce Melissa, our new office coordinator, and James, our new IT engineer.

We managed to raise a total of £300 for the Salisbury Hospice this week by doing pull-ups at the Salisbury office. It was a great opportunity to have a little break from the computer screens, enjoy some friendly competition, and raise money for an amazing cause!

You might have noticed our brand new website is now live and looking great. Our talented web design and development teams have given it a spruce up to display even more of the fantastic services on offer at Blue Frontier.

Complying with the governmental guidelines, we have found ourselves working from home over the last few months to limit staff exposure and comply with social distancing requirements. It has been rewarding to be in a position to be able to help other businesses stabilise and even grow their businesses online to adjust to the current climate and consumer behaviour. 

We are thrilled to support the fundraising efforts of Tatirano Social Enterprise in providing clean handwashing stations to people in Fort Dauphin, a village in Madagascar. This work helps protect people from contracting and spreading coronavirus.

Following several audits, we have successfully been re-certified for  ISO13485, ISO9001, and ISO27001 at Blue Frontier. This means a great deal as it is an acknowledgement of all of our hard work and expertise within the business.

We are proud to announce that Blue Frontier is now ISO 14001 certified. Our latest ISO certification reflects that we meet the international standard required in terms of having an effective environmental management system.

Some of our new starters had barely got their feet under the desk before they were rapidly extracted from the office due to COVID-19 and had to set up makeshift workspaces at home.
