A company's brand identity is often the first touch point of any relationship with its customers. In a recent talk to Southampton businesses, Rachel Oliver, one of our web designers, revealed how companies can leverage brand power to their advantage, and the key to strong branding through visual recognition.

On Tuesday 24th September, we passed the assessment to gain the Cyber Essentials Plus accreditation. This achievement not only demonstrates our continued commitment to our own cyber security, but also our capability to assist other organisations by identifying and minimising vulnerabilities, and ultimately improve their own cyber security.

Although Blue Frontier now proudly comprises of all aspects of technical IT, web design, software development, test services, consultancy, and digital marketing, in 2005 the business had yet to evolve into the end-to-end service it is today. It's almost a year since we opened our office in Southampton, so how are things going 12 months on?

The latest Blue Frontier workshop in collaboration with Go! Digital was led by our resident video expert Nick Layton and took a look at the steps you can put into place to utilise video in your marketing efforts.

Our first ever Blue Frontier Sports Day was a tremendous success, with plenty of laughter and inventive activities to try. Find out who won and what we got up to!

Blue Frontier digital marketers Sammy, Nick, Matt and Joe all attended the launch party of the brand new VisitSouthampton website at the John Hansard Gallery in Central Southampton, where a new and free local magazine for residents, ‘So What?’ was also rolled out.

This summer Blue Frontier is sponsoring the Go Southampton Seaside in the Square Event in the cultural quarter of the city and as part of that we will be setting up a surfing simulator for you all to try! 

Exciting news... We have set a date for the first ever Blue Frontier Sports Day! On Thursday the 11th of July, we will all be heading out to partake in some good old-fashioned competitive fun. Our four teams will be headed up by our Directors, all striving to lead their team to victory, but who will come out on top?!

On the 31st of May, we held our second internal Huddle session where we discussed key recent developments within the business as a cross-departmental group. With pizza and Nando's as fuel, we were well-equipped for collaboration and discussion.

Please welcome four of our newest faces to the business. Amy, Ben, Craig and Jamie all bring a wealth of experience to Blue Frontier, with specialist knowledge in content marketing, technical support, web development and business intelligence.  

The most recent Go!Digital breakfast event was held at the Gusto Lounge in Southampton. Blue Frontier's Social Media Consultant, Sammy-Jo Wilsher, held an introductory talk on Social Media, focusing on setting up channels, determining objectives, creating and optimising content, raising brand awareness, running paid ads, and measuring ROI.
