Bernie joined the Blue Frontier team in 2017 and works in the test team as a senior test analyst. Bernie works closely with the test manager, Hannah, to optimise test processes and maintain the high calibre of work carried out by the team.
Bernie is an ISTQB certified tester with the attention to detail and quality assurance knowledge necessary to thoroughly inspect the variety of websites, applications and products produced at Blue Frontier, detecting and alerting the team of any defects.
Bernie is incredibly versatile and can adapt to any project, meticulously examining websites, apps and products to find issues regarding anything from functionality to UX. He regularly tests products for the medical field, including cutting-edge point-of-care devices.

My favourite parts of working at Blue Frontier include the fantastic people, the team spirit, and the interesting and varied work.
What does your Blue Frontier role involve?
As a senior test analyst & qualified ISO standard auditor, I carry out ISO audits for both Blue Frontier and our customers. I am also involved in all aspects of web testing, compatibility, and functionality. A considerable part of my role is working with other departments such as the design and development teams to ensure that we deliver the best product, app or website possible.
What would your dream project be?
I would love to work with a medical technology company to help investigate and implement life-enhancing products.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
I spend my free time walking, reading, socialising, watching TV, and doing D.I.Y (including gardening).
