Creative Design Team Lead at Blue Frontier

Joe joined Blue Frontier’s design team in 2016 after accumulating an abundance of experience in prior roles within web and graphic design. As a Creative Design Team Lead, Joe uses his natural creativity and knowledge of the best design practices to provide clients with outstanding design work.

Joe has a sound understanding of how colour, fonts and graphics all tie into a brand’s identity. As a result, he carefully selects these elements when executing design work to ensure that websites are captivating to users while also maintaining brand identity.

Joe uses a variety of software, tools and platforms as a web designer, including content management systems such as Joomla! and WordPress, Photoshop and Adobe XD, and open-source CSS frameworks like Bootstrap. His familiarity with these key tools helps streamline the design process and thus the efficiency of project delivery.

What are your favourite things about Blue Frontier?

A few things that I really love about Blue Frontier are the variety of clients we work with and their diverse industries, the helpful and supportive team, and the amazing office space.

What does your Blue Frontier role involve?

My role at Blue Frontier involves designing and building websites, working closely with clients, and researching and formulating new design concepts.

What would your dream project be?

I would love to work on a project where the focus is on the user experience, whether that be an app or website. It would be great to have the time to carry out user research, delve into the data of an existing product and test new concepts with real users.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

Outside of work, I enjoy going on adventures with my young family and chasing my son around. I also love playing football, following football (particularly my favourite team Liverpool!), mountain biking, socialising with friends, and a bit of DIY to make improvements to my home.
