James joined the technical team at Blue Frontier in 2020 as a DevOps Engineer. Before joining Blue Frontier, James completed an apprenticeship at EE Limited and worked in IT engineering for 4 years.
Having worked on a large physical Linux server estate, James is no stranger to working in a fast-paced environment and fits perfectly into our technical team with his exemplary work ethic and excellent problem-solving skills. He is now focusing on providing DevOps support to our internal developers and ensuring everything runs smoothly on our shared hosting environments.
James is a fast learner and a very committed IT engineer, who since joining Blue Frontier has obtained an AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification. He is an organised and precise worker who delivers high quality IT infrastructure solutions in the Cloud.
What are your favourite things about Blue Frontier?
My favourite things about Blue Frontier are the team spirit, the bespoke IT solutions we offer our clients, as well as the encouragement and support we receive from the company for personal growth and development.
What does your Blue Frontier role involve?
I work on architecting infrastructure solutions in the Cloud, providing DevOps, Linux and hosting support.
What would your dream project be?
I would like to work with a football club and support them with creating a dedicated cloud environment to assist with data analysis. Preferably, the football club would be Arsenal, but I won’t complain about working with another team.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I love to cook, eat, watch any football matches, walk my dog, but most of all, I enjoy learning more about the IT cloud environment.
