Gretchen joined Blue Frontier as a Facilities Coordinator in 2022. She has previously worked as an office manager for a PR company and has experience as an executive assistant and personal assistant to add to the mix.
Gretchen’s role revolves around ensuring the office facilities run smoothly. She takes care of the office environment and assists our directors with key functions so that everyone can focus on their main duties without worry.
Gretchen is an organised, responsible and friendly person who loves to learn new things and is partial towards a good Yoga class.
What are your favourite things about Blue Frontier?
I love the work atmosphere. Everyone is amicable, from the graduates to the directors. It seems more like a family than a company. I’m also inspired by the positive attitude the leadership has in furthering the education of their team.
What does your Blue Frontier role involve?
It is my responsibility to ensure all the facilities operate easily. That includes everything from the coffee machine to the toilets, from shipping parcels for clients to testing the generator. When things are slow, I write internal and external content. Also, I internally audit Blue Frontier to guarantee that our processes are up to standard and being followed thoroughly.
What would your dream project be?
I would love to write a series of blogs for a client that allows me to dive deep into research and put my creative juices to the test. I find most subjects intriguing, so I’m not picky on the client or line of work.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Outside of work, I teach yoga and love it. I also enjoy exploring new walks with my dog, spending time with my family and friends, watching comedies and documentaries, and playing or listening to music.
