Having managed a retail store and then worked in the accounts department at a waste management company in previous roles, Melissa joined the Blue Frontier family in 2020 as an Accounts and Office Co-Ordinator.
In 2021, following some training and experience within the compliance team, she moved into the full-time role of Quality Systems Analyst. As part of this role, she is responsible for a variety of duties relating to the running of our Quality and Information Security management systems, managing our Environmental Management System, and providing GDPR and ISO consultancy services to our clients.
Melissa has a wealth of experience with clients from different verticals and has successfully run many ISO and data protection projects.
What are your favourite things about Blue Frontier?
My favourite thing about working at Blue Frontier is the people! It’s such a welcoming place, which has a community where everyone supports each other. I also really enjoy the fact that I can work in a different industry and have the best opportunities to grow and develop new skills.
What does your Blue Frontier role involve?
My role involves working on our Quality Management System, running our internal CAPA programme, performing internal and external audits, providing ISO/GDPR consultancy work and running the Environmental Management System.
What would your dream project be?
I would love to have the opportunity to work with and provide consultancy for a client from the gastronomy or art industry.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
In my free time, I love to cook new dishes, especially from different cultures, as well as draw, play Xbox and travel.
